Club Changes for 2022/2023

The club’s Board of Directors announce changes that North Cass Freedom will be implementing starting with tryouts for the ‘22/’23 seasonal year. This past winter, we reviewed our clubs current structure looking for ways to improve and grow our club. During this review, we discovered that our biggest constraint in growing our club is providing enough volunteer coaches to meet our demands. This year, eight of our twelve teams our coached by volunteers whose child(s) plays on their team(s). We were close to forming additional teams, but lack of available volunteer coaches prevented us from perusing these potential opportunities. As a result of this, the club’s Board of Directors have decided to move to a paid coaching structure starting with the ‘22/’23 seasonal year. The goal of this change is to help attract new coaches to join our club which in return will allow us to expand and offer more opportunities to our members. Fundraiser and sponsorship opportunities are also being explored for next year. Additional information along with coaching assignments, camp and tryout dates and times will be released in the coming weeks. Lastly, we are very grateful and appreciative of our past and current volunteer coaches. They have volunteer numerous hours each week instructing, mentoring, and helping grow our club over the years. We would not be here today without them.
